Not a far trek from my dwelling, I decided one overcast afternoon to take a walk into Laurier Woods. I had just purchased a camera and memory card and was eager to take some photos. No, not even grey skies threatening to rain would sway me. I was motivated - this was happening, now! Being ignorant to the fact that this is 120 acres of forest and wetlands (which is quite surprising considering it is situated only 5 minutes from downtown North Bay), I made my way into Laurier Woods. Unfavourable weather and occasional trickling rain made this partiuclar trek impossible to spot any birds. Here is my photo gallery.
